Our Stories

We believe that stories of lives transformed is the best measure of impact.

Jane's Story

Jane's mother had died of AIDS when she was younger. Being the oldest of four children she became the primary caretaker of her entire family ... finding food, feeding them, making sure they got to school … She missed a couple years of primary school but she was determined to finish her education when her youngest sister was older.

Joyce's Story

In June 2017, our team was returning to a school we had already visited to meet the special needs class.  It was here we discovered five-year-old Joyce, who did not belong in this class.  She was there due to the crippling effects of jiggers, which left her hands and feet swollen and in pain.  She was unable to write or walk properly - the reason she was put in this special ed class.
