Join us in feeding 5,000 students …

At the end of October/beginning of November each year, Kenyan students in eighth grade take the KCPE exams. Many students take these exams on an empty stomach, making it hard to concentrate and leading to poor scores. If a student fails this exam, education for that student ends and his or her hope for future success is slim. Many who do not continue their education turn to a life of drugs, alcohol and crime.

Can Do Kids International is partnering with 120 Murang’a County, Kenya schools to provide rice to feed these students. Local parents and community members will provide the rest of the meal (beans, fruit, etc.) as well as cooking and serving.

Will you join this project by collecting your change during the month of October and returning it to the Can Do Kids International office by October 20? You can also make a donation online at the link below.
