Richard Scheuermann - Founder & Ministry Partnership Director

Richard Scheuermann is a husband, father of five adult children, and grandfather to thirteen! He has a passion for children and has been involved in children's ministry all of his life as an Awana leader, Bible Study Fellowship children's leader, Sunday School teacher, and Children's Church leader. He uses his enthusiasm for ministry, heart for children, and "superpower" of making connections to bring Can Do Kids to new locations around the world. His vision is to see Can Do Kids Clubs meeting all over the world and for every child to know God has created them for a unique purpose! He loves to travel, meet new people, make children smile, and help them experience God's love.



Jennifer Roth is a wife, mother of two adult daughters, and loved child of God! Not being a "kid person", Jennifer's life took an unexpected turn when God called her to create and lead a children's ministry in her hometown which blossomed into an international ministry that serves children and youth around the world. She has more than 20 years experience initiating and leading small businesses and non-profits. She has also served as a leader in a variety of churches and ministries. God has given her a vision to see believers unite to help children and youth experience God’s love in practical ways. Jennifer has a passion for leading leaders, traveling, meeting new people, and helping those who are hurting the most!



Tom Roth is a husband and father of two adult daughters. Tom knows what it takes to handle the nuts and bolts of managing a ministry with more than 15 years experience as Executive Director of the American Dairy Association of Illinois and more than 15 years managing his own photography and videography business. As a lifelong lay ministry leader in his local church and more than 20 years experience as a leader in Bible Study Fellowship, he has a passion to see people learn God's word. His vision is to make sure there is a strong operational foundation under Can Do Kids International so that it can outlive him! Tom has a passion for God's Word, leadership, music, and volleyball.


Karanja Mburu Wamatangi - Executive Director Can Do Kids Kenya

Karanja Mburu Wamatangi serves as Executive Director of Can Do Kids Kenya. A native of Murang’a, Kenya, he has worked in management for Seneca Foods, one of the world’s leading food processors, for more than 15 years. Under his leadership, Can Do Kids International has brought mega water tanks to numerous public schools, renovated classrooms, motivated students and teachers and transformed technical schools. He has served as a bridge to link resources in the West and Kenya with the extreme needs of children and youth in rural Kenya. Mburu has served on the board of Kenya Community Abroad in the US and Murang’a School of the Deaf and Hearing Impaired. He is an honorary member of the Murang’a Rotary Club and in 2019 was appointed by President Kenyatta to serve on the LAPSSET Corridor Development Board. His passion is to develop local communities in a way that enables the next generation of Kenyans to succeed physically, emotionally and spiritually, enabling them to become leaders in Kenya, Africa and the world.
